The Prelude
Okay so reviews are like my all time favorite. I love reading them, receiving them, and most importantly doing them! Since it is my birthday month I thought that it would be fitting to do a review on one of my showroom products “The Bella Rose Pink Vinyl Skirt.” I chose this product first because it’s my favorite color (pink), it embodies my personality (feminine and classy), and because I was super excited to try it on. I plan to do a review on all of my products in due time but I am super excited to start with this one and share the experience with you guys. My Review on Styled by Breyana’s “Bella Rose Pink Vinyl Skirt”
What was it like when you first laid eyes on the product?
When I first opened up the shipment for this skirt and examined it, it oozed with classiness. At that moment I knew I made a great choice for my showroom and the new direction that I wanted to go in for my showroom. I couldn’t wait to upload it to the catalog and start shipping it out so that my customers could add it to their closets, but before I could even get to that stage I knew that it had to have name. I took one hard look at the product and came to the conclusion that the name had to be cute and classy. It didn’t take long before the name “Bella” popped into my head because of it’s beauty and then “Rose” after because the color reminded me of a pretty pink rose. I put the two together, said it out loud a few times, and before I knew it “Bella Rose” was born.
What was the experience like when you first tried it on?
When I first tried the skirt on I was a little discouraged because it was a tighter fit and then it dawned on me that it’s made with vinyl material. This type of material has a tighter and more glove like fit so I had to go up a size larger than what I normally wear. After switching sizes it allowed me to move around freely. Up until getting this product in, I had never tried or owned anything vinyl so I had to get use to the material not being as stretchy and flowy. It was a bit of an adjustment but now I am getting used to the material fitting my body like a glove.
What were some of the things that you liked about the product?
As I mentioned earlier, one of the things that I like the most about this product is the color of it and the classy/feminine characteristics that it embodies. When I look at it I just get so excited for Spring and I envision female entrepreneurs wearing it to business brunches and conferences. Aside from the color and aesthetic I really enjoy how it makes me feel. When I put it on I feel so empowered and like I am the classiest woman in the room. It also makes me feel extremely unique because I have yet to see someone wearing this exact piece. I always get compliments on it when I wear it out in public so that’s always a plus too.
What were some of the things that you didn’t like about the product?
Hmm..I have a love/hate relationship with how hot this skirt makes me feel. I am cold natured so if the temperature is a bit chilly outside or I am in a cool building then I know this skirt will be perfect to wear. However on the flip side, when it’s extremely hot outside (i’m talking 90 degrees and above) then this skirt makes me really hot and ruins my entire outfit experience. This is why I highly recommend wearing it in the spring, fall, and winter when the seasons are a little cooler. The only way I would wear it in the summer is if I knew that I would be in a cold building all day. Another thing that I don’t like is the color of the zipper. It’s gold. I personally am not a fan of gold and would have preferred it to be silver but that’s just me being nitpicky. It wasn’t a problem for me when I first opened the shipment or when I recorded the video, but now it bothers me just a tiny bit when I reach for the zipper to zip myself up.
Where would you recommend wearing this piece or what are some places you have worn it to?
I think that this piece would be perfect to wear for a photo shoot and to be more specific a birthday or business photo shoot. So far I have worn this piece to someone else’s birthday dinner and I have even worn it out on a weekday just because I wanted to look and feel a bit more stylish.
