Natural Bristle Beechwood Clothing Brush

$48.00

Features

This beechwood clothing brush is handmade and has a leather attachment for hanging. It also comes with a brush bag to help keep it protected when it’s not in use.

Why You Need This Product

  • It has reliable performance. The natural bristles on this brush are gentle yet effective at removing food, dust, dried mud, unwanted debris, powder stains, and more from your clothing.

  • It reduces the need to wash and dry clean your garments regularly.

  • It works wonders on various fabrics. From delicate silk and cashmere to sturdy denim and wool, this versatile brush can handle them all without damaging the fabric or leaving any unsightly marks behind.

How To Use

Remove everything from the pockets, raise the collar, and lay the garment down on a clean and flat surface. If you don’t have a clean and flat surface available, keep the garment on a hanger and hang it against a closed door.

For surface level impurities you’ll want to make sure the bristles are dry. For deep stains and impurities you’ll want to dampen the brush before beginning the process.

Once your brush is ready to use, brush downward using firm sweeping motions (do not scrub as this could damage the garment).

How To Clean

Before you wash your clothing brush with soap, it’s important to remove any dirt, hair, or product buildup from the brush. To do this you will need a clean comb and you will need to run the comb through the brush (deeply penetrating the bristles). Once all of the dirt, hair, and/or product buildup has been removed from the brush you’re ready to move to the washing phase.

When washing your clothing brush you can use anything from dish soap to laundry liquid (for the best results we recommend using a gentle dish soap or laundry liquid combined with equal parts of white vinegar).

Once you’ve selected your soap and/or created your cleaner, you’ll want to gently and thoroughly massage the bristles with your fingers. When you’re finished soaping the brush, rinse it off with warm water (try to keep the wood handle as dry as possible).

Once finished, shake as much of the water out as you can and pat the bristles dry with a towel to remove moisture. Lastly, use the leather straps on the brush to hang it and let it air dry.
